Cynthia Weill will join Cinco Puntos in Booth 3120A on Saturday at 10 a.m., and will sign books from her First Concepts in Mexican Folk Art series until they run out.
Author Cynthia Weill works with folk artists from around the world to illustrate basic concepts for children. She's trained as an art historian and has worked as both an educator and art historian, and is the director of the Center for Children’s Literature at Bank Street College in New York.
Donovan Mixon sets up shop Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the Cinco Puntos Booth, signing copies of his debut novel, Ahgottahandleonit. If you've read August Wilson’s plays and loved them, you’ll love what Donovan is doing in Ahgottahandleonit. Amazing dialogue, music from the street.
